Wednesday nights in Southend have been transformed forever thanks to RND Promotions and Storm Nightclub who have heated things up with the launch of LatinStorm - the only Latin American club night in the UK.

LatinStorm incorporates Salsa, Rumba, Ceroc, Cha-Cha and Merenge and with Neville Bailey, considered by many to be the man who brought Salsa to Essex, playing the very best in Latin American music LatinStorm really does look set to be the place to be on a Wednesday night for anybody who wants to dance!

LatinStorm's motto is 'Just Turn Up And Dance' and Roy 'The Boy' Bacon of RND Promotions insists that this is the only policy of the night.

"Latin American dancing is the only dance-form that has no real boundaries age-wise. It has so many positives - if you want to keep fit it's ideal, burning an estimated 600 calories an hour, if you want to have fun it's unbeatable and if you want to meet people it's a great way to do just that.
With so many people now taking classes in Salsa, Rumba and many of the other Latin American styles we wanted to offer them somewhere where they could put all of their moves into practice.
We were also very aware when setting the night up that there are a lot of people out there who would really enjoy the LatinStorm experience but may feel put off as they've never attended any classes before so we have set up classes before each night kicks off from 8.30 - 10pm where beginners will be able to come along and learn some moves that they can use when the LatinStorm club night really warms up at 10pm."

Latin American dancing is not only a great style to learn but also a mesmerising one to watch and on the first Wednesday of every month LatinStorm will be holding exhibition dance shows where fans as well as those taking part can come along and watch the very hottest dancers setting the dancefloor on fire with their hypnotic routines.

If you're already taking dance lessons, LatinStorm is the place to practice what you've learnt in a club atmosphere.

If you just want to try it out - come along (no partner necessary) and enjoy yourself!

'Latin Doctors' will be on hand throughout the evening to give advice and tips.
